RCA: Monthly Invasive Workday at Riverview Park

Join the Rivanna Conservation Alliance and members of the Rivanna Forest Restoration Partnership for a volunteer workday in Riverview Park during CVille Tree Week! We will be maintaining our riparian buffer plantings through invasive plant management, tree maintenance, and more.

RCA will provide snacks, water, and all necessary tools, but you are welcome to bring what you have. Please bring a water bottle, and wear long pants and closed-toed shoes to reduce your exposure to poison ivy in the working area. We also recommend bringing an outer layer to protect your arms.

Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult throughout the entire workday. This event is subject to change due to weather. If you have any questions, or sign-ups are closed, please email info@rivannariver.org.
