Develop and sustain the Partnership - Sustain a robust and inclusive partnership with members who collaboratively develop and implement the shared vision, secure funding, and build the capacity to effectively manage and sustain partnership efforts.

Promote community awareness and well-being - Enhance community well-being and connection to the urban Rivanna River corridor through increased awareness of and exposure to riparian forests’ many values.

Empower community members to take action - Engage, educate, and build the capacity of the community to actively participate in riparian forest restoration on public and private lands throughout the watershed.

Support riparian forest stewardship efforts on public lands - Collaborate with local governments and the community to restore native riparian forests on public lands through strategic invasive species removal and native plant reintroduction.

Support riparian forest stewardship efforts by private landowners - Collaborate with and support coordination amongst landowners to expand and accelerate the restoration of native riparian forests and removal of invasive species on private property by offering support and guidance.
