Join members of the Rivanna Forest Restoration Partnership for a walk through a section of Pen Park during NISAW (National Invasive Species Awareness Week) to learn about invasive plants and the workthe Partnership has been doing to manage them across public lands within the urban corridor of the Rivanna River. We will identify invasive and natives, and look at a few areas that have been managed by volunteer groups, and contractors.
Meet us at the picnic pavilions behind the tennis courts.
